Welcome to the PanelSec Blog

We're launching our blog to share insights on AI security, shadow AI governance, and how organizations can stay ahead of emerging risks.

Why We're Starting This Blog

At PanelSec, we believe that AI adoption and security shouldn't be at odds with each other. As AI tools become embedded in every workflow, organizations need clear, practical guidance on how to embrace these technologies safely.

This blog is our space to share what we're learning — from the frontlines of AI governance.

What You Can Expect

We'll be covering topics like:

  • Shadow AI risks — how unsanctioned AI tools create blind spots for security teams
  • Data leakage prevention — practical strategies to keep sensitive data out of AI prompts
  • GDPR and EU AI Act compliance — what European organizations need to know
  • AI governance best practices — building policies that enable rather than restrict

The Challenge We See

Every week, new AI tools appear. Employees adopt them before IT even knows they exist. The data flowing into these tools — customer records, source code, financial projections — often contains exactly the information organizations work hardest to protect.

Nearly 75% of organizations have experienced at least one security incident related to AI oversharing.

The old approach of simply blocking AI doesn't work. It drives usage underground, making the problem invisible rather than solved.

A Better Path Forward

PanelSec takes a different approach: governed enablement. We help organizations see what AI tools are in use, understand the risks, and enforce smart policies — all without killing productivity.

Stay tuned for more posts diving deep into each of these areas. If you have topics you'd like us to cover, reach out — we'd love to hear from you.
